The Waiting game...

39 weeks
At 39 weeks I was ready. Danya had the "final" week off of school for fall break and I thought it rather perfect timing.
As the week went on, it became clear that baby had other ideas for her arrival. SO we waited, Danya filled my days with business, and my business filled my nights. So that we had extra spending money I kept taking orders for Pascal the Chameleon costumes. I made 38 of them this season. Next year ebay should be loaded with the hand me downs. There were soo many orders and yet there were still tons of people asking for more. CRAZY.
We spent one day sewing the blanket for the baby. Danya is getting pretty good at straight stitches, and I let her do all of the actual construction of the blanket, I just maintained a close eye on the fingers, and the edges.

Naturally being October there was also the family craft project homework that kept us busy too. This was our family Jack O lantern for display in her classroom. So proud of it.
On Due Date Day our moms club had it's annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Danya had soo much fun getting to hang out with her pal Brinley. Brinley is only 2 but in this picture they look about the same size and age. It's crazy how much like sisters these two have become, and that is of course a testament to how close her mommy and I have gotten over the past couple of years.

And here is the belly. 40 weeks! Yep I never got real big. unfortunately I'm finding it easier to gain wait post birth, but that is a story for a later date.
