This year marked a couple major milestones for Danya. She started school and turned 5! She is quite a character most days, and somedays that same creativity gets her in trouble. Her Daddy and I thought it would be great to harness some of her creativity and technical know how so we bought her a Leap Pad 2 for her birthday. As you can see she is quite thrilled.
And another big hug for the Leap pad. Now pay close attention because in most of the rest of the shots you will notice that she is quite attached to her leap pad.
This would be her opening her replacement Courteney doll. Her first "babysister" Courteney doll met an untimely end when a friend popped her leg off. Never fear she has been replaced.
Birthday cake. Now some of you may be wondering why a piece is already missing for the candle blow out. Well several of Danya's super close friends came over in the afternoon, and since we had this amazing cake sitting there that Momma couldn't help eat, we shared with our friends.
See leap pad!
It was a great birthday, and she is still quite attached to her leap pad. It has been fun to watch her learn to use the different programs. We've bought a couple of games for it, but that is definately something she'll be asking for for Christmas.
