Danya's First School Picture

School pictures are a right of passage. The statement that a child did it on their own. This means no Momma behind the camera approving of the smile, or fixing the hair, or any of that. Danya was soo proud of her purple comb they gave her to fix her hair before her photo was taken. For several days we could only comb her hair with the purple comb. Then there is the posed smile. For posed smiles, this one isn't horrible, but we decided to just keep it and not have her redo it, because she was soo proud of giving a great smile.

5 Years old

(well technically on picture day she was 4 years 11 months and 3 days old, but who is counting)

Height 46 and 1/4 inches tall, 52 lbs , 95% for both height and weight

John and I decided to take advantage of the package offered at just a little additional money to get the photo with only a few printed copies, and to rather have the digital file to share with family. So many times in years down the road family and friends will pull out a HUGE box of photos with names on the back of cousins through the years. In this digital age it's great to have the option to legally share her school pictures this way. For some of you who are less digital there may be actual photos on the way to your house so don't worry.
