Our Caterpillars

It's caterpillar season right now. Our crown flower tree has soo many in it. To keep Danya from spending all her time pulling on the branches, we brought some inside and put them in a little tank. We've been having so much fun watching them eat. I'm kinda hoping one of them will turn into the elisive and rare white monarch, but I'm betting they will all be just regular ones. It's been fun to watch. I think one of them isn't doing so well though. He didn't eat anything or move all night last night. He's really sluggish this morning so we might be down to 3 caterpillars, but we will see what today brings.
