On the Go!

Danya is running everywhere. She, naturally, has been able to do this for quite some time, but it seems that the running has increased lately. I used to say that Curious George was her alternate identity, but now I am convinced it is the Tazmanian Devil, from looney toons. She is very good at cleaning up her own messes and for that I am grateful. All of her therapists comment on how good she is at cleaning, yet there are some messes that mom must clean up. By the time I have one mess cleaned up it seems that a new one appears. These messes also have running involved most of the time. We've been casually potty training for several months and we are finally seeing the fruit of this endevor. She is doing pretty well but sometimes you just can't run to the potty fast enough. She has just started telling us "Shi Shi" (pronounced She she is local style for peeing) when she needs to go. But back to moving -- she came up with a new game that she thinks is just a blast and you guessed it, it involves running. It all started as a way of distracting her from the fact that Daddy was working on some school work in the office, and it just went on to be soo much fun we have played it several times today to distract us from the light sprinkles which I thought were supposed to be real rain, but we will save that for another post.
Notice how clean our patio is, Hurricane preparations say that toys that could blow around should be put away. She was having so much fun running around that we didn't get them back out yet.
