Puddle Jumper

We heard about this new type of life jacket that was coast guard approved through an online mommy forum I belong to. It sounded perfect for our little fish. She is getting braver and braver in the water. She doesn't really like to float on her back but if you hold on to her middle she'll try and "swim" on her tummy. Well that is what this is designed for. I was trying to do the filming while still holding on to her so we're a bit close but you can see how much she loves her "shishy" as she calls it. That's fishy for those of you who wonder about the translation. We have had a slight word explosion this past month. She is finally starting to mimic what we say. Especially if she knows it means something good, like food.

I've gotten a little behind on posts and most of them are just cuteness anyway so go to our family album website to see a bunch of new photos.

Laura, Thank you so much for your encouragement on MckMama's blog frog, I will pray for that YP for the Lord to change his heart.
You have a beautiful daughter, I look forward to adding your blog to my reading list and seeing that beautiful smile more often.

Thank you again,
Shalana
PS my daughter, now almost 12 used to call her floaters, not as cool, just the arm ones, her popeye arms, and she too still loves the water, if I can't get her to a body of water she will just hang out in the tub for hours (literally) on end, sometimes even with a friend and one time even two (with suits on of course) - which is interesting becuase we have a small apartment sized tub.
