A Friday Adventure

On Friday morning we had an appointment in town to film some of our story about our experience at the hospital where Danya was in the NICU. Well we got done sooner than we thought so we took a little detour on the way to drop daddy back off at work and went up to Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific.

Danya knew it was a special treat to walk with Daddy.

Not so much cooperation for a picture with Mommy.

Notice how she won't hold Mommy's hand.

But she will gladly hold Daddy's hand. We don't have any stairs at our house and she really loves stairs so she was in heaven, as they say, walking up all those steps.

I see water!

Danya's question was "why do they put stairs up to the pool if you can't go in?" Of course she can't say all that but what she did say was...

"swmmy, swmmy, poo! poo!" Which means I want to go swimming in the pool.

There was lots of signing please as we explored around the fountain. When our time was up she was none too happy to leave the poo, but was consoled by all the steps she got to climb down. It was a hot but fun morning.
