When you color with chalk it can be messy. It's just no fun if you don't get into it with your whole body. It was hot yesterday afternoon and being in our front was cooler than the back of the house and the inside was stifling. So we went out front. At first Danya was just exploring and playing with the hose (she wanted me to spray her) then her friend from next door came over to play. At first we played with Danya's dolls, then when that got boring we got out the chalk. I didn't know the neighbor girl was supposed to be going some where soon so I let them get good and dirty. Oops. Anyway, they had a blast. It took a few moments to clean up when the neighbor girl was called home. As you can see Danya likes to dump all of the colors out rather than pick out just one from a bucket. I didn't download today's photos yet, just wait until you see what we did today.
