Trying something new

We've hit that age where she is starting to get the "shi shi goes in the potty" idea. With funds tight and since we were blessed with training pants and plastic pants for her birthday we are going a little "green". We aren't going totally green because she is a well hydrated child drinking about a 1/2 gallon of water every day. Sometimes less but the problem is all that liquid has to go somewhere. When she is tired she hates trying to make shi shi so she goes to bed and fills her pants. 'Sposies or disposable diapers absorb soo much, where even trippling her unders can't compare. So she is getting a 'sposie at nap and night. It's actually easier than I thought it would be to switch and I feel better about where our money is going. When money is tight and you are spending a small fortune on your garbage it feels better to use what you have.

Good for you, Laura! I too, hate that we spend so much money on our garbage. I've been happy that we are using fewer diapers these days.
