Our favorite toy

Fisher Price's Snap n Style kids. We bought her Abby Cadabby for Easter and she's gotten the others randomly as my mood and finances allow. She loves them. It's a lot of fun because the clothes just snap on and off. It's like my first Barbie, and for those of you who have known me for years you know how much I love Barbies. Danya makes them "talk" to each other and give kisses and hugs. It's been really fun watching her play with them. They stand up easily too so her frustration level with them is quite low. They go everywhere with us. She hugs one in each arm (Abby Cadabby hasn't been as much of a favorite since we got the second girl) and insists on bringing them with. It's great because it keeps her busy for most of a grocery shopping trip. I say most because some times she has one of those fun toddler moments and throws her dolls. Oh I loooooove toddlerhood. The speech therapists who came out this week even designed one of our activities around her dolls. We are working on clothing words. They are planning to go back and show the PT the dolls online. They think the PT should have them for fine motor. It really is a lot of fun to play with. Danya is so smart she has even figured out a way to bring her favorite of the 2 girls to story time before bed. She always grabs the other doll before her bath and brings it with her. When it's time to get in the tub I take it away and put it on the counter and she get's it back when she tries to make shi shi in the morning. Then when we go back to her room to put her PJs on she grabs her favorite doll and brings it with to mommy and daddy's room for her bed time story. The other night she grabbed the wrong doll before bath and realized it just before she crossed into the bathroom. She yelled "no, no, no!" and ran back to her room put the doll back in it's bucket and grabbed the other one, then she returned to the bathroom with a big grin on her face, like "I'm smarter than you mommy". Sometimes I think she might be.
