Me at 6 weeks pregnant
Me at 20 weeks pregnant.
She was more cooperative at her ultrasound than her big sister was, which is good, because it gave the dr. plenty of time to check all her measurements and make sure that at this point there is nothing to be worried about genetically, or developmentally. At my "advanced maternal age" there are tons of things to worry about, but at this point everything looks great.
Having another girl, means that we have most of all the things we will need for her for quite some time. However, one Saturday morning Danya and I made a trip to our local babys r us to check out all the new technology and other fun stuff for babies, that simply either didn't exist last time or wasn't available in the islands. Danya LOVED scaning all kinds of things, and continually asks to go again. Baby has also recently gotten 4 boxes of hand me down clothing, so she has (if you can imagine it) more clothes than Danya did as a newborn.
