March For Babies 2011

We joined up with the MOMS Club Honolulu East Chapter to walk in this year's March for Babies. It was an awesome morning and we got the chance to meet some new mommas from the other side of the city.

 Here Danya is doing the Keiki walk. Even though I could sure use the long walk for weight loss purposes we walked in the Keiki walk this year so that Danya could have a bit more ownership of what we were doing.

 This also gave her the chance to experience all the fun things that they had planned for the day. We had another egg hunt.

 Then after some lunch and collecting all our freebies, we got to play with Tonic Bubbles.

They make some seriously huge bubbles.

Come to find out that Auntie Kelli who used to be Danyas public health nurse when she was still in early intervention is related to the creator of the awesome bubble mixture.

(psst. hook us up Auntie Kelli, I think we need some for her birthday party this year)

Mid Pop

Other kids came and went but Danya just kept chasing the bubbles.

After a hard morning of walking someone got to ride the half mile back to our car. There were so many freebies that she hardly fit in the wagon. It was a very fun morning raising awareness for an amazing non profit and helping to raise some money in the process.
