Water and Danya

So I was washing the dishes the other night, and I could hear a lot of laughing from outside where Danya and John were playing. When I went out to see what was going on I had to laugh. If you've ever watched the movie "Tommy Boy" you totally understand why this was funny to watch, but it really is just cute. As has been the story of her life, Danya loooves water.

Just a little wet. Yikes as the night went on her shirt kept stretching and not long after this photo we took the skirt off completely because it was so heavy it wasn't staying up anymore.

As you can see, Danya does have a little mischeviousness going on. The nice part for mommy is that the cup she was using has holes in the bottom, so the water all flowed out as she was running.
Because of all this fun water play it should come as no surprise that when Target decided to clearance out their swimming pools we purchased one with her birthday money. If they go even farther on clearance we might even pick up a spare for later in the winter.
it has an inflatable slide and the giraffe "spits" out water. I just let the giraffe fill up the pool, otherwise it felt like a waste of water.
Yesterday was super hot, and so the fun part about the pool as opposed to her bucket is that all of us can climb into the pool and "swim" together. We had a really fun morning, and I'm pretty sure the neighbors were wondering what was going on. Danya laughed and laughed and laughed.
