Thinking Day
Each year girls Scouts around the world participate in world thinking day. It is a day designed to inform girls about how girls in other countries live. This year the focus was on diseases, plagues, and water issues. Not such a happy thought for little daisies. So the by last option on the list was doing something for your local children's hospital. PERFECT! So our girls participated in a collection drive for Danya's gift. (Www.danyasgift.blogspot.com) they put together birthday boxes for kids who are stuck in the hospital on their birthdays. They learned that about 50 kids celebrate their birthday in the hospital every year.
