New Years 2010

New Years in Hawaii is allways loud. It started about a week before Christmas and so by new years Danya was fairly used to the noise. Not that she wasn't still quite tentative, but she at least had some fun with her friends down the street. We knew that our neighbors would be out in force shooting off fireworks so we stayed close to home with plans for a loud evening.

Danya rediscovered fireworks this year. She had a lot of fun, especially when we went out front and saw that her two friends a couple houses down were outside too. The three of us really had a good time with our neighbors, until the noise was secondary to the smoke so we went back in the house. After a nice long bath Danya fell soud asleep and was barely awakened when the real noise came at midnight.
