Visitors

This week we had the pleasure of hosting John's aunt and uncle for a few days. They were visiting Maui for Danya's party and decided to come over for a couple days to see Danya in her home. It was a lot of fun having them here. Danya thought it was especially fun to have the air mattress up. She enjoyed banging on it and waking them up in the morning. Usually we didn't do that until they were really already awake. They are not used to baby schedule so she was almost ready for a first nap when we woke them up.

Danya and uncle Mike checking out the Areca Palm. Our palm produces so many nuts. The turn a beautiful red when they are ripe. Here is some more information on the tree. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betel_nut One of our neighbors likes to chew the nuts so we let them grow and then they come over and prune and harvest the nuts.

We had a great visit. Danya was quite enamored by them. Thanks for comming auntie and uncle.
